It gives me immense pleasure to place in your hands the Newsletter for the session 2016-17, 2017-18. Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School was the first English medium school of Doraha. It was established in the year 1991. For the past 27 years, Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School is carrying forward the legacy bestowed by our Founder and providing a holistic learning experience to the students. We, at Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, have dedicated ourselves to giving the highest standard of academic and non- academic education to our students; an education grounded in noble values and right thinking.
In today's world of knowledge explosion and globalization, it is important that students have a well rounded personality. They are awake and conscious of what is happening around them and actively participate in the experiences life has to offer. This is possible if children are curious to know. It is, therefore, the duty of parents and teachers to satisfy, and, at the same time, ignite the curiosity of students. This will, in turn, lead to innovation, which is the real aim of all education. A creative mind will be restless and ever looking for novel ways of dealing with things and people. Let us, as teachers and parents, ignite this spark in our children and pray that they create a world which is more constructive, thoughtful, inclusive and giving!!
To all my students, my message is one of hope and positivity. "There is no elevator to success, you have to take the stairs" (author unknown). Work hard and persevere, success will be yours. Be open to ideas and suggestions. Try to think about new things. Be helpful to all. Do one good deed a day. Always be happy and playful in spirit but remain focused in your work.
